An Unexplained Artwork

They say that the most precious painting of all is Mona Lisa. It was made by the famous painter Leonardo Da Vinci. It took him three to four years to finish the work. Some studied about what’s the identity of the model as Mona Lisa, when Leonardo Da Vinci made the work of art, how it was made and what’s the history of Mona Lisa.
I never thought that a single painting will cost a fortune. It is well protected and secluded. I never realized what was so great about that portrait. It’s just a simple picture of a lady with a smile. Professional art specialists say that she has an enigmatic smile. Some say that she was suffering from a sickness causing her to have that smile. A lot scanned and investigated about Mona Lisa’s smile yet no one knows which is true. According to the program I saw, “The best way to hide a secret is through the past. I kind of believe that because some things are unexplainable by science. They always base on theories.
Mona Lisa is a painting that is truly remarkable for most people. Those who love art have dissimilar beliefs about the painting. They come from different places and countries just to see the beauty of the portrait. But one thing is for sure, Mona Lisa is a painting that will touch every people’s mind.

Unexpected Encounter

One fine sunny day, I went downtown to get some ingredients for my porridge. As I turn around the corner of the street, I saw a lady who trampled over a pile of scraps of wood. I immediately helped her. She gave thanks to me with a gentle smile. I can’t see her whole face because a hood was covering it. I was about to leave but she held my hand and asked me to go to her house and eat. I can’t say “no” to a sweet lady like her so I agreed. We walked on a long road leading to her house. She stopped in front of a huge gate. Inside the lot was an enormous castle. Questions churned in my mind. Who really is this woman? What is she doing here? The gates were unlocked for us and we entered. When we went inside the castle, a massive grand staircase welcomed us. The place was amazing. The marbled floor was sparkling clean and portraits hang everywhere. We continued walking, passing corridors and hallways. We came upon an almost empty room which only has a tea table in the middle. The table was decorated with flowers, porcelains and different pastries. The curtains were tied for the light to enter the room. Across the room was a garden full of roses. The scent of the flowers spread in the room. She motioned me to sit on the chair beside the small table. The lady prepared tea and cookies for me. The way she moves seems so majestic and elegant. The questions still ran in my mind like crazy. She handed me the tea and asked me several questions about myself. Her voice was so tender and soft. After I ate, she asked if I want to ride a horse with her. I haven’t ridden on a horse in my entire life. We went into the stable at the back of the castle. She got me a black stallion and assisted me onto it. She rode on her white horse and together we strolled. The feeling was a mix of excitement and fear but overall, it was great. The afternoon was almost over when we stopped. The sky was orange with streaks of pink and blue and the sun was almost setting. She accompanied me to the gate. Until now, she hasn’t removed her hood. Before I take a step away, I asked her name. She let her hood down and in my surprise she was the queen. I spent my whole afternoon with Queen Elizabeth II.
