There is Hope

Have you seen our environment for the last few years?  Those times when the sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky. The gleaming white moon and the little stars that twinkle in the dark night sky. The earth full of tress making it green. Can you imagine how beautiful our world was? Try to compare it to the present condition of our land. Stars that you can barely see because of the pollutants in the atmosphere. Trees chopped down to build high scrapers and buildings. Those fishes that died because of the dirty bodies of water. What will happen after fifty years or so? Will the world be the same or will it be a black place? Is there a way of stopping this from worsening?

Tall buildings, wide roads, crowded shopping malls and shiny new cars are some of the things you see in a modern city. High technology, gadgets and automatic appliances are the result of science and researches. But are they thinking about the damage that occurs in our environment because of being irresponsible? The usage of chemicals that act as poison and synthetic materials that destroys and kills life and nature. Today, earth is already a polluted place, but there are some ways of restoring our environment if we act now. The first thing we have to do is to be disciplined. We should segregate our trash and throw things properly. We should also plant trees and join the organizations that take care of our natural resources. Instead of plastics, we can use paper bags. If we keep on doing these ways, I believe we can change the world into a better place.

The environment is a very important thing in our daily lives. Even if we can’t see it, we need the oxygen that the trees provide us through photosynthesis. We eat the fishes that live in the sea. We also eat vegetables and fruits to have a well-balanced diet. These things are very simple but have a great role in the world.
